The two times former president of Nigeria, General Olusegun Obasanjo, has drummed his support for the Labour Party Presidential candidate, the former governor of Anambra state, Mr. Peter Obi. The former president stated that he sees Peter as the most qualified candidate to lead this country among his counterparts. This came after he stated that seeing Tinubu shaking yesterday is a big red flag for him.

Furthermore, Gen Olusegun Obasanjo urges the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC to be effective and make sure they conduct a free and fair election that will bring in the leader of the people’s choice, it should be business as usual.

He also warns the Electoral Body stating ” Rigging the 2023 General election is like calling for a huge protest that mankind has not seen before. We all saw what happened at Endsars, it will be a play if INEC does otherwise”.

Obasanjo said ” If Peter Obi win all South East, which I am sure he will effortlessly, then he gets anything above 30% votes in the Northern part of the country and at least a 25% votes in the southwest part of the country. Kindly declare him the winner and give him the certificate of return to avoid any huge protest foreseen” Obasanjo warns INEC.
